A Rose In Disguise

There was a Rose lying on the floor
Everyone noticed who passed that door
The rose was the same but perceptions varied
From toddlers to lovers and those who were married

The little girl entered with a swirl
Saw the rose and pointed her curl
Oh Mommy this is a clip for my hair
Let me tear its stem she ignored its glare
The Rose decided to make her aware
No my dear girl don’t apart our pair
My stem is my honor, to cut don’t you dare
The scared girl, moved out of the door
She hated the Rose dint want it anymore!

Later that day, a couple crossed its way
Gazing at the rose, this is what the boy said
“Its petals are soft; I’ll tickle your face”
Blushing and resembling the color of the Rose
She took it in her hand and brought near her nose
The Rose then shouted and screamed for defense
Don’t clutch me so tight my petals take offense
Annoyed she threw it with force
That broke a few petals of innocent Rose

While walking a man married for years
Stopped its feet and took back his peers
Wait here my friends see there lies the Rose
That brought my beloved wife so close
She always admired its fragrance so soothing
I will buy a new bunch he smilingly concluded

Hearing to what this man had just said
The flower evaluates the fluster it led
Was he admired few moments ago?
Or was he rejected for losing its show!!
