Imploring to Coalesce

I decided to ask her to leave my way
He is my husband, the man in my prayers
She was so stubborn I feared her intent
With a voice so bold she replied so blunt

"What if you married him, oh dear!!!
He is my love, My passion, the only reason I swear...
So what if you carry him in your name
You can never take the memories I retain
Yes I love him, and will love him till the end
Your marriage is slipping from your hands like a sand
That makes you beg for mercy oh friend!!"

She came towards me with her eyes staring deep
Holding from my waist, she asked me not to weep

"Oh dear I shall promise, I'll never see your man
He'll still be mine, go get him if you can"
She turned and then continued to shriek...
"Your tears, your marriage none can make our love weak!!"

"This thing that I possess is not like worldly knots
Its love my dear friend that blossoms from inner thoughts
And the marriage you claim with such a delight
Could not clutch him, for his love, you'll be deprived"

Listening to the truth in her bitter words
I was stunned and confused as to who was worse?
I thought I had it all as I married my man
Yet I stood before her... with... emptied hand!!
